Serves as the principal MWR program director and senior advisor, overseeing the administration and execution of installation Morale, Welfare and Recreation (MWR) programs and operations. Responsibilities include strategic planning, budgeting, marketing, facility maintenance, staffing, logistics, financial management, policy development, program oversight, and supervision of MWR personnel. The position also oversees MWR facilities and services, evaluates programs and financial performance, coordinates contracts and operations, and ensures compliance with Navy policies and safety standards.
Qualifications: At least five years of progressively responsible experience managing comprehensive MWR programs for the Navy or other military branches. Strong knowledge of MWR programs, budgeting, financial management, facility management, contract administration, and supervisory practices. Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance and valid driver's license.
Salary: $90,925–$118,204 per year, plus potential non-taxable post and living quarters allowances.
